I recently became an Assistant Editor of The Americas, one of the leading Latin American History journals. It's a great honor to join an editorial board of scholars I deeply admire and to have the opportunity to help to shape the future of one of the field's most venerable journals.

I am very proud (and honored) to have joined the editorial board of this long-standing series, which is now expanding its scope to include texts from South Asia, China, the Middle East, and Latin America.

Romantic Liberalism article published in the Historical Journal (June 2015)

I am very pleased to report that my article "Romantic Liberalism in Spain and Portugal, c. 1825-1850" has been published in the Historical Journal (June 2015). This article is a revised and expanded version of my 2013 Balzan-Skinner Lecture at the University of Cambridge. Here is a pdf of the article.
