The end of the Spanish Empire

I'm proud to report that an essay of mine on the dissolution of the Spanish Empire in the early 19th century (and its relevance for the present!) was published this month in the Madrid-based Revista de Occidente. The October issue of the Revista was guest-edited by the outstanding historian Manuel Lucena-Giraldo.
